Water & Grace is a faith-driven, veteran-owned filtration company based in Shreveport, providing custom water systems for drinking, cooking, bathing, and everyday household use.
We custom-build systems based on your city’s specific water quality. Our filters go
beyond taste—they remove disinfection byproducts (DBPs), heavy metals, chloramines,
and more. Every product is backed by third-party lab testing, and we handle all installation
and maintenance locally.
At Water & Grace, being faith-led means we operate with honesty, integrity, and a sense of responsibility that goes beyond profit. The vision for this company took shape during a season of prayer and reflection, when I felt called to build something rooted in service, truth, and care for others.
That calling shapes how we do business — from how we speak about water quality, to how we design systems, to how we treat the families we serve. We approach every home with humility, transparency, and the same care we would want for our own.
For customers who request it, we also offer the option to install a small garden cross as a visible symbol of our values — a reminder that Water & Grace is built on service, not shortcuts, and purpose, not pressure.
Currently, we specialize in chloramine-treated municipal water in the Shreveport-Bossier
area. We do not yet offer well water systems but plan to in the future.
Not in the traditional sense. While whole-home filters treat 100% of household water, our
approach targets the water that directly affects your health. 70–80% of water that touches
the body is routed through the hot water heater—so our Hot Water Guard™ filters that
water before it’s ever heated. This lets us deliver premium filtration performance at just
25% of the cost of full whole-home installs, with better protection for your lungs, skin, and
health. When paired with The Waymaker™, our systems cover 90% of the water that
actually matters most—cooking, drinking, bathing, and cleaning—with the correct filter
media specifically engineered for chloraminated municipal water. And when combined
with our targeted add-on filters—like the Sink Shield™, Bathtub Guard™, and Garden
Shield™—you get precision filtration across 100% of the water you actually use. No waste.
No shortcuts. Just smart, strategic water protection at every key point of contact.
Here’s a Waymaker-first rewrite that keeps the flexibility message but clearly positions The Waymaker™ as the foundation of the system.
Absolutely.
Most customers begin with The Waymaker™, which addresses the water you drink and cook with every day, then expand over time as their needs or budget allow. From there, you can add complementary protection—such as the Hot Water Guard™, Bathtub Guard™, Sink Shield™, or Fabric Shield™—without replacing or reworking your original system.
Our modular design is built to grow with you, making it easy to start with the most impactful upgrade and expand into full home coverage when you’re ready.
The Waymaker™ starts at $499 installed, and the Hot Water Guard™ starts at $599 installed. Final pricing can vary slightly based on installation complexity. Optional add-on filters range from $50–$199. Financing is available starting at $47 per month, making this one of the most affordable ways to own a true high-performance water protection system.
Yes! While it’s designed as the final stage of The Waymaker™, it can be added to any standard 10” x 2” inline RO system using the appropriate fittings.
The Waymaker™ is our flagship reverse osmosis system and represents the highest level of design, configuration, and attention to detail we offer. It is not a pre-assembled kit or mass-produced unit. Each system is custom configured, stage by stage, based on local water characteristics and long-term performance considerations.
What places The Waymaker™ in the top tier of residential RO systems is not a single component, but the way the entire system is engineered and integrated. It uses a true multi-stage architecture that separates mechanical filtration, chemical reduction, membrane separation, polishing, and remineralization into distinct, purpose-driven stages rather than combining functions or relying on shortcuts.
Unlike generic RO systems that follow a fixed template, The Waymaker™ is built with deliberate redundancy, controlled flow paths, and carefully selected media designed to handle chloraminated municipal water. Each stage exists for a reason, and nothing is included simply to inflate a stage count.
After purification, water is finished using our Spring Core™ remineralization process, which restores balance and taste in a controlled, measured way rather than aggressively altering water chemistry. The goal is consistency, stability, and a clean drinking experience that holds up over time.
In short, The Waymaker™ is designed for homeowners who want one of the most complete, disciplined, and carefully built RO systems available, and who value verification, configuration, and long-term reliability over marketing claims.
The Hot Water Guard™ is a cold-line filtration system for water heaters, designed to reduce disinfectants and disinfection byproducts before water is heated. It helps improve the overall hot water experience while supporting water heater longevity. Includes a complimentary Shower Shield™.
Only The Waymaker™ and The Hot Water Guard™ are stand-alone systems. All others (Sink
Shield™, Garden Shield™, Bathtub Guard™, Fabric Shield™, etc.) are modular add-ons
designed for complete coverage.
Yes. The Waymaker™ uses a certified reverse-osmosis membrane combined with catalytic carbon stages—two of the very few technologies shown to effectively reduce PFAS (“forever chemicals”) from drinking water.
We use CX-MCA catalytic carbon, KDF-55, KDF-85, eco-safe coral calcium, calcite, magnesium oxide, tourmaline, and complementary mineral media—each selected for a specific function such as chemical reduction, redox conversion, mineral balance, and taste refinement. All media is NSF-certified and safe for daily, long-term use.
Pitcher and most refrigerator filters rely on basic granular carbon, which mainly improves taste and odor. They do little to address chloramines, disinfection byproducts (DBPs), PFAS, pharmaceuticals, or heavy metals—and they offer no protection for cooking, ice, brushing teeth, or shower exposure. Our systems use catalytic carbon, KDF redox media, and reverse-osmosis membranes, delivering real chemical reduction and whole-exposure protection—not just better-tasting water.
Bottled water is expensive, inconsistent, and often just filtered municipal water. The average person spends $40–$60 per month on bottled water, with many households reaching $70–$100 per month, totaling roughly $500–$1,200 per year. It frequently contains microplastics, can degrade when stored in heat, and only addresses drinking water—offering zero protection for cooking, ice, brushing teeth, or inhaling contaminants in shower steam.
At $47 per month ($564 per year), our system meets or undercuts bottled-water costs while delivering higher-quality water directly from your tap, eliminating plastic waste and protecting every daily water exposure—not just what you drink.
Not necessarily. Municipal water can meet regulatory standards and still contain a wide range of trace substances introduced through treatment processes, aging infrastructure, and environmental factors. Many of these are monitored at low levels and vary by location and season.
Some homeowners choose filtration not out of fear, but out of a desire for greater control, consistency, and understanding of their water—especially when local testing reveals compounds they’d rather reduce in everyday use. Filtration is a personal decision, and our role is to provide clear information and thoughtful options, not pressure.
Yes—immediately.
Most people notice the difference first in the water they drink and cook with. The Waymaker™ delivers clean, crisp, mineral-balanced water with no chemical aftertaste, making coffee, tea, ice, and meals taste noticeably better from day one. Many families also see benefits for pets and plants that rely on the same purified water.
For homes that also use the Hot Water Guard™, the improvement extends beyond the tap. Hot showers feel gentler, steam is less harsh, and the strong chemical smell often associated with hot water is reduced. Together, these systems transform how water is experienced throughout the home—but it’s the quality of the water you consume every day that most people notice first and value most.
Instead of filtering water you flush down the toilet, our approach is built around The Waymaker™, our flagship system that treats the most critical water exposures—drinking, cooking, ice, and brushing teeth—where purity matters most. This targeted filtration strategy delivers maximum health protection and performance while avoiding the cost and inefficiency of full whole-home filtration.
Yes. We provide independent third-party lab testing through Tap Score, documenting performance across multiple configurations of The Waymaker™ system:
Test 1: The Waymaker™ RO — Filters 1–6 The Waymaker™ Lab Report
Test 2: The Waymaker™ RO — Filters 1–7 The Waymaker™ Lab Report2
Test 3: The Waymaker™ RO — Filters 1–10 The Waymaker™ Mineral Profile w/ PH
with the Spring Core™ mineral blend
These reports verify real-world contaminant reduction and overall system performance.
